X-Tone considers this music too beautiful and epic to be "produced," he prefers to "design" it instead. And so, he designs proglifting electro trance - both for your headphones and for the dancefloor.
It couldn't be any different for X-Tone, real name Dmitry Kirilyuk: when you father is a professional music director and mother is a concertmaster and piano player, a passion for music is born in early childhood. Dmitry attended music school and quickly got into electronic music, creating his first track when he was 16. By 18, X-Tone had DJed at all key venues in his native St. Petersburg, and toured biggest Russian cities throughout the next several years.
X-Tone was one of the co-founders of the "Vse Delo V Techno" event, held in the legendary Tunnel club. He has never played techno though, which made his highly energetic trance sets stand out from all the rest, to the delight of the raving crowds.
In 2011, after years of DJing and organising events, X-Tone decided to quit and dive into learning modern music creation software and improving his music design and production skills in full. Today, he starts showcasing what he's capable of with a series of remixes and original tracks, out on digital labels worldwide in 2013.
